I think I'm getting serious about Running a Fallout RPG from my home. I'm going to start off with the story of Fallout 1, so i wont have to write a lot and if anybody wants to live the story of fallout 1 but not with the isometric view game (that I'm surprised people hate). (if it goes well then i might start writing or move into Fallout 2) I'm still not sure what day of the week will be best, because it still depends on what day Warhammer 40K is run, and if my Monday D&D groups starts backup after the Christmas break. If my Monday Group doesn't start back, I like Monday. But i can do Tuesday if Warhammer is moved to Wednesday. I can do Wednesday if players don't mind starting after 8 and going till 12 or 2. I cant do Thursday (Vampire woot). I can do Friday if nobody playing is into FNM and can pseudo-commit to it. And i wouldn't want to do it on Saturday or Sunday. Saturday 6PMSo if anybody is interested let me know. I'm Sam btw if u don't recognize the Sergeant Apple. You can call me at (501) 514-2643 after 5pm, Meet me at the shop, or leave a message here or with John , Ryan, or Dorthy. (Note: I the rules system is a percentile system, and can be found here: http://www.pamedia.com/rpgames/rpg/falloutpnp/fallout_pnp_2_0.zipIf you have played any fallout game, the PnP uses the SPECIAL system just like the games.)

Ok peeps. Game one has happened. We had a lot of fun taking out Radroaches, talking to the Hungry Tribes people and exploring the remains of some underground facility overrun with more radroaches, Glowing mushrooms, and a colony of Giants Ants. We also found a Village of hundreds of Bat-People.
The fun doesn't end there though, the Bat-People are hungry too because they have been cut off from their hunting grounds. The party has decided that the hunting caves of the bat people were cut off due to blasting done by near by miners and have set off to talk to the miners. As they walk they consider what the Bat-People told them about the miners "They look like humans, only dead." "That's the Deaders camp."

Night Two of the trial went really well. The group made it to the Mines and met the Mine foreman, Patch. After a little investigation They found that the water flooding the caves was from the miners rerouting a water source away from the mine, and that surprisingly the water source had very little to no radiation. Also they discovered that they could reseal the source of the water with some well placed explosives, but that would cause the mine to fill with water again. Here is where it got difficult the party had discovered the source of the problem and met all the parties involved. they discussed many solutions, finally deciding to travel to the Hub and convince the Water Merchants to setup above the cliffs to remove the valuable water from the caves, allowing the Bat People to return to their hunting grounds and leaving the Tribes people safe from their gods.
The party's plan succeeded, but the time it took to travel to the hub cost the life of another tribe member, and a few of the bat people became too hungry and restless to stay.

War.. War never changes..
The Romans waged war to gather slaves and wealth..
Spain built an empire from its lust for gold and territory..
Hitler shaped a battered Germany into an economic superpower..
but war never changes..
In the 21st century, war was still waged over the resources that could be acquired..
only this time, the spoils of war were also its weapons..
petroleum and uranium..
For these resources, China would invade Alaska, the US would annex Canada, and the European commonwealth would dissolve into quarreling, bickering nation-states, bent on controlling the last remaining resources on Earth..
In 2077, the storm of world war had come again..
In two brief hours, most of the planet was reduced to cinders..
and from the ashes of nuclear devastation, a new civilization would struggle to arise..
A few were able to reach the relative safety of the large underground vaults..
Your family was part of the group that entered vault thirteen..
Imprisoned safely behind the large vault door, under a mountain of stone, a generation has lived without knowledge of the outside world..
Life in the vault is about to change..

It has Begun!!!
Saturday was the start of our adventure. Our adventurers learned of a major problem in their home, Vault 13. Apparently their Water Purification Controller Chip has failed and resources are not available to repair it. Advised to check out a nearby vault, Vault 15, they set out to find a suitable replacement. Upon exiting their home they found the outside world to be a near barren wasteland. The metal vault they left seemed to be more lively than the remains of Southern California. But on the way to Vault 15 they found a small village called Shady Sands. It seemed to be a quaint little town in the wastes and its inhabitants mentioned they were descendants of the people of Vault 15. Here they met Seth and Katrina the town Guards. Katrina was pleasant and Seth seem calm but a bit distracted. They also met Aradesh the mayor who offered the group some supplies if they could stop the local radscorpions from attacking. And after a stroll around town they met Curtis the farmer and told him about crop rotation. After a nights rest they headed off on their journey to vault 15. After some travel and a bit of searching they found the tiny entrance in a small tin shack. after descending the ladder found in the shack they found the vault they were looking for. Searching through the vault, it became an eerie reminder of home as they starred upon the abandoned vault. The current residents of this vault were but only scavenging rats. The halls were dark, doors were left open, only squeaks and growls came from this cave that seemed so much like home, yet so much like nothing. After a bit of searching and shooing rats, our team of adventures found that the elevator had fallen and with a rope they would be able to climb down into the lower floors. Alas, they had no rope and was forces to return to Shady Sands. There they were quickly able to find some rope from their friend Seth. This time they did not stay the night in Shady Sand, they returned immediately to Vault 15. Back in Vault 15 they were able to tie the rope to the inside of the elevator shaft and began to descend down into the dark shaft.
Where they go from here is up to our adventurers.
Next time in fallout: Does Vault 15 hold the water chip they are looking for? Will the Adventures help the city of Shady Sands with their radscorpion problem? What will happen to the restless inhabitants of Vault 13?
Find out next time on FALLOUT!

Last week one of our adventurers didn't "feel like himself" so the adventure was a little more brief.
They did continue to search the remains of Vault 15. The second floor they were able to make it to was filled with more pesky rats and a few grab items. Upon further exploration another elevator shaft was discovered, also inoperable.
Descending the next shaft they were able to find the floor they knew the precious water chip would be on. Again this floor was filled with various and annoying rats. Unfortunately a large portion of this floor had been caved-in including the Overseer's office and water control area. This could only mean that the water chip they sought was lost and destroyed.
Where they go from here is up to our adventurers.
Next time in fallout:
Where else could hold the water chip they are looking for? Will the Adventures help the city of Shady Sands with their radscorpion problem? What will happen to the restless inhabitants of Vault 13?
Find out next time on FALLOUT!

Hey guys, i know this thread hasn't been updated in a while, but we've reached the half way point in the story now. The Water Chip has been found, but now there is a new threat to life as you know it in the vault. Hordes of Super Mutants have been seen attacking people and are known to be looking for vaults around the desert. It is still unknown why the super mutants hunt the Vaults but no outcome of the Mutants finding them could pleasurable. Vault 13 is safe... for now. But will it succumb to the Super Mutants or this "Master" whom they speak.
